While using a flat belt, the maximum angle of inclination is about 15-20°. Chevron conveyor belt will enable the inclination up to about 40°. In fact the main force is on the bottom base belt. While the surface pattern only serves as a skid proof for transport goods. So high angle inclination only requires less space to reach desired conveying height.
